Vanuit Stadswerk072 heb ik namens de gemeente Alkmaar de Revitalisering van De Volger begeleidt.
Aanleiding was de provinciale HIRB-subsidie die was toegekend om het bedrijventerrein De Volger een kwaliteitsimpuls te geven.
In samenspreek is de gehele buitenruimte van het bedrijventerrein opnieuw ingedeeld om zo het parkeerprobleem op te lossen en het bedrijventerrein een eenduidig beeld en inrichting te geven. Doel was het verbeteren van de toegankelijkheid van het terrein.
Verder is er een glasvezelnetwerk uitgerold over het terrein om zo de veiligheid met een integraal camerabeveiliging systeem van het terrein te verbeteren. Tevens konden alle bedrijven hierdoor hun communicatie met de rest van de wereld optimaliseren.
